How Today’s Ladder Works
Each word’s official distance from FEET drops by one on this shortest route.

What Is Feetle?
Feetle is a free daily word ladder. Change one letter at a time to turn the daily four-letter starting word into FEET. Each move must make a word the game accepts, and the aim is to use as few steps as possible.
- One new starting word each day
- Four letters per word and one changed letter per move
- FEET is the fixed target
The official homepage credits Elias Furst’s Poople game as its inspiration. Read the game’s rules on feetle.fun ↗

Feetle Strategy
Five ways to plan your word ladder before using the solver:
1. Work backwards from FEET
Think of a word one letter from FEET and use it as a possible final waypoint.
2. Change one position at a time
Every move must change exactly one letter. Check the other three positions before submitting.
3. Keep more than one branch in mind
A promising word can lead to a dead end. If you get stuck, return to an earlier word and try another legal neighbor.
4. Use the accepted list
A familiar dictionary word may not appear in Feetle’s list. The solver below checks the list used for this page.
5. Count remaining distance
A legal move does not always shorten your route. The distance table above shows one path that lowers the remaining count at every step.

Which Words Does Feetle Accept?
Feetle’s published distance table lists four-letter words that can reach FEET. PENT and LEET are absent from the table checked for this build. If a word is rejected, try another one-letter change or use the solver above.
